I liked it about as much as Sam & Max and Day of the Tentacle, a little less than Secret of Monkey Island, and a little more than Grim Fandango and Full Throttle. I think I would put it near the top tier myself. There are at least a half-dozen of those LucasArts games that have aged like fine wine, and this is one of them. While I played Grim Fandango/Full Throttle mostly without a guide, I can only imagine the patience people must have had in a pre-internet period to play through this one. It's a fun adventure but it won't be one of my favorite games like Monkey Island, Full Throttle or Grim Fandango. So I enjoyed the game but I played with a guide next to me.
